Lefay Resort and Spa, a corner of paradise just an hour from Milan…Yes you are reading well and it’s where i go with my love when we need 48h of amazing detox, relax, peace and super good food of course.
Lefay Resort is located on the West Coast of Garda Lake in a lovely corner called “Riviera dei Limoni” and all the suites of the hotel (and of course the pools) have a stunning view on the lake. See how the famous writer D.H Lawrence described this area:
” There are vineyards and olive woods and lemon gardens on the hill at the back. There is a lovely little square, where the Italians gossip and the fishermen pull up their boats, just near. Everything is too nice for words – not a bit touristy, quite simply Italian common village” …Indeed, everything is too nice for words!
And of course what makes the experience unforgettable is also the uniqueness of the Lefay’s Spa (which represents the core of the relais and received so many rewards as Best Spa). Check here all the details and offers http://www.lefayresorts.com
Last but not least the FOOD! For me as a foodie is such an important thing…and here they pay so much attention to the hight quality of the ingredients! The menu of the restaurants are created using the excellent food of the local territory using their own olive oil as a main protagonist.
After a long weekend at Lefay Resort you’ll feel so good, happier and younger…like me today!
Remember, eat well, travel often and always #FollowMu
PS: while you are here don’t forget to stop by for a lunch by the lake or dinner at the adorable Restaurant Lido da Adriano http://www.gargnanosulgarda.it/ristoranti-lagodigarda/Lido-da-Adriano-gargnano.html . It’s a little restaurant with few table and a beautiful (super romantic) terrace right on the Garda Lake. The owner Adriano is such a good host, in love with his job; he makes only simple local dishes using the best products available (fresh fish from the lake, bio vegetables, small cheese producers) and he’s an authentic wine and champagne lover! Trust me, don’t choose your wine but follow his suggestions, you’ll never regret it 🙂
